Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

Part of the United States Citizen Corps Program, the °ϲapp CERT team was established in 2003. CERT members give critical support to first responders in emergencies, provide immediate assistance to victims, organize spontaneous volunteers at a disaster site, and collect disaster intelligence to support first responder efforts. °ϲapp is the first college in New Jersey to have such a program, and one of only four nationwide. Lost & Found

If you lost a personal item on campus, you can attempt to locate it by doing the following.

  2. Check with University Police and file a “Lost Property Report.” If the item is turned into UPD, we will contact you if a report is on file for the item described.

Title IX and Gender-Based Misconduct

Title IX is a federal law which prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender or sex. Sexual harassment and sexual violence are forms of discrimination under Title IX.

Gender-Based Misconduct is the term °ϲapp uses to describe the range of behaviors that are prohibited under our policies relating to gender, sex, and relationships. It includes non-consensual sex and sexual contact, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, dating and domestic violence, and stalking.
